Riley's Fish Shack

Delicious! Fried clams were way better than the ones we got on Revere Beach in Boston. Love the onion rings. The batter was thick (almost like a fried pancake) but surprisingly light at the same time. The maple balsamic dressing was pretty sweet and the coleslaw wasn't that impressive but everything else was amazing. Loved the service and the ambience. Come hungry. Portions are huge and prices surprisingly good. 2 free sides and a choice of dessert or drink come with every entree. Wow!

Love the roadside atmosphere and truly fantastic fish. This place looks like a joint that should be on Guy Fieri's Triple-D TV show. The food is spot on; it's every bit as good as you imagine it to be.

We found about Riley's by word of mouth. Wow, were we pleased! We had both the whole belly clams and clam strips. They were sweet, tender and cooked to perfection. Frankly, it was the best seafood that we have all ever had. Staff was cheerful. Eating seafood, outside on a beautiful summer day, it doesn't get much better. Would highly recommend.

Seafood in Vermont, who knew?! Shrimp was cooked perfect and pretty tasty. Casual atmosphere caught me a little off guard with the prices, but I guess you have to pay to get decent seafood in Vermont! Good parking and easy to find, and staff was friendly. Will go back!

Stopped for a little seafood. Very happy with the choice. A cup of Haddock Chowder thick with fish and potatoes and in my case oyster crackers. Good hearty broth. A pair of Lobster Rolls plenty of Lobster and fresh ingredient made this an excellent meal. The Fried Apple Dessert with soft serve vanilla a good closer.
