Citizen Cider

We stopped for a late lunch. Engaging atmosphere, kind staff. My wife had a sandwich but substituted tofu for the chicken. The tofu had very little flavor, hidden by sauteed hot peppers. Any marinated flavor would have been lost in the heavy bread bun. I ordered crab fettuccine priced at about $14. It was served on an 8" salad sized plate. Good flavor, rich sauce. Just a very small portion for the price IMO.

We did enjoy a flight of their ciders which was fun.

I love hard cider so I had to try Citizen Cider. This place is large with indoor and outdoor patio seating. The service is efficient and friendly. However, I didn't love the ciders. We did two flights to try them all and there were a few winners, but overall nothing to bring home.

Okay food but great atmosphere and service. I’m not a cider drinker so I cannot speak to the quality, nevertheless their selection is vast. They do offer a great selection if beers on tap. Fries looked and tasted hand-cut. High chairs but no changing table that I saw. Parking was not plentiful because of the great location. I would go back if I had some cider lovers in the group.

This is really one of the biggest reasons I came to Burlington. Found these a few years back and fell in love the the ciders. They offer so much more in the taproom. Good food. Nice folks. Simple atmosphere and set up.

great place! Amazing cider! The staff is also super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you want to get a drink and a bite to eat. The drinks and food are reasonably priced and delicious. If you happen to be in the area you should definitely stop in.
