Gaku Ramen

Perhaps the best ramen I've had in my entire boring life! The spices on the table allow you to ensure every bite is spiced to your preference. Well done Gaku!!

This is now the third time I try to get food there and get no service at all. It took over 5min for anyone to acknowledge my presence despite multiple employees walking past me.
Once someone finally decided to acknowledge my presence, they haphazardly directed me to a table and walked off.
After that, I waited for 20min. For 20min, I didn't even get a menu or even as much as a look from the server that was handling the section I got seated in.
While I was waiting, a couple came in and received the exact treatment, got seated right next to me and immediately ignored. Eventually, we ended up just leaving and going to Asiana Noodle Shop.

The food is usually great, but service is 50/50. Either you get served, or you don't.

We love going here. Great food, good proportions, and not too expensive considering it's on Church St. The ramen comes out in big bowls and you can choose to order extra noodles if you have some broth left over. The appetizers are better suited for a small group so expect to have to purchase extra for bigger groups. Usually there isn't a long wait, but some of the tall tables have uncomfortable chairs.

Fun and different place! The food is great. Very polite and knowledgeable wait staff, with ideas for customizing the dishes for more restricted diets. A very satisfying and healthy meal!

Very good food and chill environment! staff were very nice. I highly recommend the appetizer: Chicken bun! I wish they had a ramen dish that came with salmon, but it can be added on for additional cost!
