Simple, delicious and affordable.
Great breakfast spot. Good portions and some nice concoctions with french toast. Definitely recommend. If you stick to basics 2 eggs,2 pancake, 3 meats for just under 10$. Check out their specialty sandwich menu. It closes fairly early around 1pm.
Was looking for breakfast places near my college and this was my first result. About 3 minutes from the water front and 10 minutes from downtown (maximum). Small family owned restaurant with great breakfast and from the looks of it, amazing lunch too. The staff were kind and attentive and there was a sense of family there. Not too big, which I think helps the place. Also you can see everything being made. Would highly reccomend, just not with huge groups of people. Also try the pancakes and the sst.
Fantastic service with a friendly staff who took time to give us recommendations for what to do and where to go in the area. We went for a late breakfast and they still had a good selection for “late risers” including their famed french toast double and triple decker breakfast sandwiches which were DELICIOUS. Tiny hole-in-the-wall place with no parking but it was worth the walk down the block. Would go again 100%.
This was exactly the breakfast spot we were looking for... No frills, straight up diner where the breakfast was absolutely top notch! Sure you can get a Mammoth sandwich as featured on Man vs. food and other tv shows, but I don't think you'll find a better bacon egg and cheese or straight up breakfast anywhere else in Burlington... Especially at this price point. It surprisingly was not crowded when we visited on a Tuesday morning.
Saw this diner featured on Man vs. Food, and knew that we had to stop here on our recent trip to Vermont. Both my girlfriend and I ordered the Chuck Norris sandwich, which certainly lived up to the hype. I finished mine with ease, while my girlfriend started to slow at the end. Be ready for a gastric experience like no other. If you love breakfast, as much as I do, then you'll love the sandwiches offered here. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mr. Handy, and he was more than helpful to let us know about some activities to check out up in Vermont. Coming from NYC, it was nice to meet someone so friendly who had inside knowledge of what to see and do. Thanks again, and on our next visit to VT, we will make sure to swing by again for another "battle" with Chuck Norris. ????
