This restaurant and bar is stunningly beautiful inside. The drinks are stiff, the sevice was above average, and the food was thoughtful and delicious. Its within walking distance of waterfront park and church st... next time you're seeing the sights in Burlington stop in. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in town.

Stopped here on a whim after looking up a place in Burlington with small plates and drinks
The decor had a Victorian library kind of vibe. Ordered the cheese plate, black eyed pea fritters and seafood chowder. The cheese plate came with generous portions of delicious local cheeses, jams and accouterments. The black eyes pea fritters were delightful - reminded me of a large falafel with a crispy fried exterior and soft but firm interior and mild kick of spice.

The most notable dish, however, was the vineyard chowder. It's probably the best seafood chowder I've ever had (and that says a lot as a long time resident of Boston). The chowder was chock full of large chunks of white fish, potatoes and a light buttery cream sauce and adorned with a jumbo shrimp. Unlike other chowders that can seem like they have been sitting in a pot and congealing under constant heat for hours, this chowder tasted like it was made from scratch to order. I can't wait for my next trip to Burlington to sample this again - it was absolutely phenomenal.

We ate outside because we felt the inside was a bit stark and cold. That said, the food was fantastic. Well worth a visit.

Food from the branch menu was wonderful! The service was just right: attentive enough but not annoying. It took about 40 min to prepare food for a party of 8. It was quite beautiful inside - someone has certainly invested a lot time into the design.

I always enjoy the environment of this place when I travel.
When its slow the staff pays attention, when it's busy during Flynn events, they still pay attention. Modest menu, but well prepared and a thoughtful wine selection.
