    Please welcome and support The Red Onion Cafe, which was always a favorite on Church Street. Charlotte's gain! Great homemade food. Sandwiches made with thick hearty bread, tasty soups, really nice folks there. Good selection of cookies too.

    The bread is SO good! And, the Red Onion signature sandwich has long ben one of my favorite all time sandwiches.
