The Pickled Perch

A very pleasant surprise. Someone has to tell you about this restaurant or it'll slip by your attention. A beautiful location by a marina with a pleasant ambience. Has in & outdoor seating, the servers were attentive and helpful, and the food quite tasty. Loved the empanadas roll for an appetizer and had the Beet & Feta salad with blackened chicken for entree; a little overboard with the beets and needed a little more variety in the salad for a balance of flavors. The blueberry crisp, lacked any crisp but was local and a nice after treat. A very eclectic variety of wines that were reasonably priced.
Definitely recommend this establishment if you're in this area and definitely hit up the Starlight Drive-in movies on the weekends. A triple feature showing simultaneously on 3 screens. So cool!!

I so want to love this place. But even the great location and view can't make up for all the issues here. First visit I had bad service but hot food. The owner invited me back--last night the service was good but the food was COLD!
Sorry Sven but I'm done. It's a shame because your food when it's hot is top drawer. You get 5 stars for that.

Everything about this place pleases. The tables are far enough apart so one can have a private conversation. This is a choice of indoor or outdoor venues, and the view is outstanding.

Given all this, the managers might be forgiven if the food was just average, but it isn't. My burger was genuine RARE, something I don't often find and my companion told me her fish tacos were outstanding. The server, Hannah Y was efficient but not intrusive.

After a long week I wanted a decent meal in a friendly place. The Pickled Perch was the right choice. The staff is the perfect blend of knowledgeable and considerate. The food, delicious, the dirty martini was yummy.
