Feldmans Bagels

They stand out from the crowd and above the rest of the bagel joints in a 50 mile radius. I can say that in comparison to the two orders I've requested at all bagel joints... an everything bagel toasted with egg and cheese & an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese.

Their attention to detail may not be noticed until visiting another bagel place. The bagels have a great outer crust that is crisp & the interior bagel is a lightly fluff of cooked dough.

The egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel is so well perfected, that adding bacon may in fact, and it's difficult for me to say and accept, may actually disguise the amazing flavor combination of their perfectly cooked egg and cheese.

The other bagel places in the area don't even achieve a place on the podium for excellence.

I would give 5 stars to Burlington and 4 to Shelburne. I hope they will get to 5. I give 4 mostly because the bagels are excellent and are well put together for a breakfast sandwich. Coffee is okay however they had run out of lids on a Sunday. I had what I hoped to be a one off issue ordering a smoothie but a man in front of me another day also had a similar issue. So, stick to a bagel and got hot coffee and you'll be fine.

I liked the food and prices. I have had the unfortunate timing of coming in during hours when the staff were either bored or preoccupied with other prep work. I had not only one, but three instances of coming in during a slow time and having items left out of my order or forgotten after payment. Each time in a reasonable timeframe, the issues were remedied at the expense of 15-20 minutes of hanging out and waiting before any mistake had been acknowledged . I appreciate that there is still a neighborhood bagel shop, but I've had poor luck on efficient service. I would recommend this place as a sit-down experience with single-item ordering in mind. I dig the lox bagel and breakfast options, in addition to some good bagel varieties. I have been 50/50 on forgotten items usually waiting for three to four additional patrons to receive their food and beverages before I usually inquire to the progression of my order. It bums me out slightly, but there are grocery stores on Rt. 7 and 4 or so Dunkin Donuts locations if you really need a fast bagel.
