Heart of the Village Inn, Modern Vermont Bed & Breakfast

Anatoly and Rose are absolutely charming hosts. Their hospitality and their warmth radiated throughout their lovely bed and breakfast. The facilities were in a perfect location, a nice in between for traveling the Lake Champlain Valley. Coupled with clean rooms, comfortable beds, endless amenities, and a breakfast that deserves it's own page on Yelp; The Heart of The Village is truly a home away from home. I cannot thank Rose and Anatoly enough for their impeccable service. In my opinion, there is no better place to stay when Visiting the Lake Champlain Valley.

The Innkeepers (Rose and Anatoli) were very accommodating to all of needs. I absolutely fell in love with my custom-made breakfast each morning!! I couldn’t wait to eat everything on my plate!! They also knew I was traveling by myself on my motorcycle and offered a variety of suggestions on places to visit and things to do!! The decor was impressive with so much thought and attention to detail!! Specifically, the teapot/teacup chandelier in the dining room!! My room was immaculate and had so much personality! The soaps and lotions smelled very nice!! I will definitely stay at The Heart of the Village again when I visit Vermont in the future.

Drop everything and go there now. This is especially true if you live anywhere near I-95 and need a reset from your daily grind. Skiing, Lake Champlain, craft breweries, craft distilleries, foody paradise.
The rooms are huge - we took our two kids! The breakfasts are creative and delicious. The Inn is centrally located in the paradise of Shelburne. You won't run out of fun things to do here.
