FINALLY there is Korean food in the Burlington area, and it’s good! They were super busy on a Saturday night, so keep that in mind when picking up takeout — it’s worth the wait.
Standouts were the beef bulgogi and the fried chicken (maple).
Will definitely be back again and again!
My new go-to comfort food!
I went for lunch. I go to South Korea every summer, and I'm a fried chicken fanatic. This is definitely some of the best I've ever had, here or in Korea. The chicken is definitely made using the labor intensive Korean double-fry method. The outside is crispy enough to crunch when you bite into it, but there isn't a trace of oil on the interior, just juicy, thoroughly cooked meat. I got take-out, and all of the food was beautifully packaged, hot and fresh when we got it home. Service at the counter was friendly and cheerful, but totally efficient.
Highest recommendation!
Just a fair review or 3 star because there are only 2 tables for dine in and it was occupied, takeout were lined up for about 3 people as we are hungry we were not able to wait. The one who attended to us was nice and explained frankly so for us not to wait of we are really hungry. Will definitely change the rating once we were able to dine.
Got takeout fried chicken and kimchi pancake- all were perfectly fried. Love the tteobokki alternative to French fries! Seems like they’re still dialing in flavors, the honey fried chicken coulda had more sweetness and the soy sauce chicken was kind of a salt-bomb (went great with the melon soda though!) Loved the lightly seasoned coleslaw. Looking forward to trying more from the menu!
Fantastic Korean food. I have enjoyed a lot of Korean food in my life and this place was up there with some of my favorites. So glad to have this place in VT! We ordered Spicy Tteokbokki, Golden Original Korean Fried Chicken with French Fries, and the Korean Rose Udon with Shrimp. The soups/sauces were incredible and the fried chicken was fried to perfection. The only thing that didn't blow my mind was the fries which were just average. Cute shop and great location. There isn't much seating inside so be prepared to take your food to go and have it at home.
