what a lovely place. Really helpful with choosing our main meals: sausage and for me baby back bits. We also had the 2 sides and burnt ends - make sure you order these. We were helped with our beer choice and our food choice and it was absolutely spot on. Really attentive staff, very helpful and chatty making a very nice atmosphere. A VERY SHORT WALK FROM THE TRAVEL LODGE TOO. This was massively helpful for us being on bikes and walking to the restaurant. My advice is come here have a good beer and good food.

First I should say that, for me, its primarily about the food. I found the meal here wanting. The half rack was a pretty small portion and the mac and cheese was flavorless and the sauce was grainy. The salad had a double portion of pulled pork and was enough for lunch but cost $19.
I should say that the atmosphere was nicer than you usually see a BBQ place. This place would be great for people who want a nice place to hangout and are not as concerned with the actual BBQ. Staff was friendly.

Walked down from the Travelodge on a whim. What a worthwhile walk it turned out to be! I'm a non drinker so I opted for the chocolate shake and it was the best I've had in a long while. The jalapeno cornbread and wings were beyond my expectations. Maybe cinnamon butter, if compatible, would be an excellent option. Service was fast and friendly. My only disappointment is I'm about 550 miles from home so even getting back once is a remote chance. Has the option of extreme takeout been on the table yet? ????

This place is amazing. The food is wonderful, the service and ambiance fantastic. I love the old-school jazz they play, at a volume where I can also hear the conversation of my party. The Oak smoked ice cream is a treat not to be missed. The only thing I could suggest is that they might offer traditional southern hush puppies with sugar or maple butter, and perhaps sweet corn bread without the hot peppers. I visit often for their extremely good barbecue.

It's pretty good. Food was tasty. Drinks are good and strong. I had the adult maple milk shake. Wow. Onion rings good but a little small. Smoked meats were very tender but did not have a smoked flavor that I've gotten in the south. ribs had a bit too much dry rub on them which is easy to wipe off. Sauces and sides were all good so I definitely recommend going here to eat. ????
