Great burgers and fries. With so many options, I just went for the basic cheese burger, with lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup and mustard, you know, the classic. It was perfection on a bun. My wife got the Swiss cheese and mushroom, which was also awesome. I don't know if the grass fed beef makes a difference in taste, but these were about the best I've ever had. The French fries were the real thing, too. Nice well kept yard where the picnic tables are set up.
We'll be back next year!
No, it's not fancy. And it's not near anything. But it's my destination for burgers! Their cooked-to-order burgers are made with fresh, local grass-raised beef, and you can enjoy them with wide variety of toppings. My favorite is the Greek burger, with feta cheese, roasted red peppers, red onion and tzatziki sauce.
If fried sides are your thing, there's a nice selection. Try the fried green beans or the fresh-cut French fries. Veggie burgers are available.
They always have very yummy food. They have so many choices, sometimes it is hard to make a decision but I have never been disappointed! The only downside is they only take cash, so make sure you have cash on you before you stop.
Read about Burger Barn and decided to take a drive to try it out.So many yummy sounding choices, its hard to decide what to have.
2 of us had bacon cheeseburgers and I had the Blue burger- caramelized onions and blue cheese.
They were cooked perfectly and really good.
The fries are hand cut and crispy .Very good onion rings as well.
Grab seats at one of the picnic tables and enjoy !
If you are in Vermont it's worth the drive( we drove 1 hour to get there)
This tiny little burger shack in Jeffersonville is a one-of- a- kind. They do it right ! Fresh, local beef. Cooked to order, of course. I asked for medium rare... and that's exactly what I got. Not overdone or under done. Perfect. Around 25 or 30 different style burgers. All sorts of toppings. Great sides. Small seafood selection, too. Friendly, courteous staff.Doesn't get much better !
