Mudgie's Food Truck

Hot fresh sandwiches with local ingredients made by the owner. Very safe outdoor take away and lovely spaced picnic benches. Grilled cheese with bacon was incredible and we loved chicken on naan with an addition of their house made radish pickles. Sweet bbq sauce with beef and peppers also delightful. Fantastic warm for and service for a chilly day day. Highly recommend

We heard about the new food truck and couldn't help but stop by. The food is phenomenal. We got the two foil-wrapped shaved lamb sandwiches yous see in the first picture, and the potatoes. The lamb sandwiches were divine-- fluffy, fresh pita, tender and flavorful lamb, and caramelized onion jam. Even after I was full to the brim I still ate more bites-- a testament to the absolute excellence of this food truck. Currently, they are cash-only, but there is a convenient ATM right down the street at the bank. The potatoes were good as well- everything you want in a big hunk of salty/smooth/spiced.
All in all, a 6/5 for presentation and taste... welcome Mudgie's to Johnson. We're glad you're here, and we'll be returning!
