Get the pile o' taters! Loved all the flavor. Tater tots are forever ruined if eaten any other way. Atmosphere is fabulous. Spectacular service. Will be back.
Wit & Grit is a great addition to the Central Vermont breakfast restaurant scene. My wife and I had the biscuits, sausage, and gravy and the breakfast burrito, both of which were very tasty and were definitely well crafted. The space is large enough that everybody can be well spaced so no real worries regarding Covid. They are still working out the employee thing so you may have to wait a bit to sit down if it's crowded or to get your coffee refill but the owners have a great attitude and make every effort to keep you happy. I'm hoping they can transition from plastic utensils and take-out containers to flatware and plates soon since I hate to produce any more trash than I need to. But as a past restaurant owner myself, I understand how overwhelming the first few months of running a restaurant can be and they are off to a great start, with good food, positive attitudes, and a nice space. So give them some love and head over to Wit & Grit and try them out!
Sweet breakfast at this new dining spot in Randolph. Truly yummy food choices with cool menu items, lots of space around diners (good for pandemic times), take out available, and great vibe. Highly recommend you check out this new gem off the beaten track.
I had a superb small breakfast burrito which had dripping tasty cheese, fresh tomatoes and creamy eggs and crisp bacon. Really good! Simple local coffee is served. No fancy espresso drinks.
I had an egg wrap with garlic aeoli.. fantastic, and great portions!
This place has an interesting decor and I think it was two places at one time.
I'll be interested in watching its evolution.. (I may buy land in the area sometime)--what would be great is to see it evolve into a hub.. I'm thinking the space by the back wall could be a small band nook... I know some great musicians in the area who'd love to play there!
I would offer sriracha in marinara sauce as it makes a tasty side sauce.
(Just ideas)
I would only suggest serving the food like the pictures here, not to go containers.
