Stopped by after hiking Killington. Our waiter Owen was extremely friendly and gave us the best service I've had in a while. The menu is not large but had a bit of everything, salads, burgers, and irish staples like stew, and shepard's pie. My boyfriend and I both had burgers and we're very happy with them. I had a bacon blue burger and it was perfect, the blue cheese was deliciously tangy and they didn't skimp on it. Also it was coooked to order (medium rare) and babe exactly how I like it. The restaurant and inn have a lot of character. There is an antique safe in the lobby and the building is built around the natural granite formations, there is a small living room with games and comfy looking chairs for guests. All in all this was a fantastic experience and is definitely return if I was in the area.
My boyfriend and I LOVE Inn at Long Trail! They have the friendliest, helpful and most professional staff! Rooms are so comfortable,
they have tons of games, amazing food and beer: best Bed and Breakfast in Vermont.
Food, entertainment, drinks, people... What nowm can you ask for! The food is amazing and freshly made. The bartender, Owen, is probably the kindest person ever. The wait staff never forgets a name and promptly there to serve you. NEVER, EVER would I pass up the opportunity to come here.
This place is fantastic! The food is delicious. Don't leave without trying the Guinness stew or the Shephard's Pie.
The inn and pub are a family run establishment that has been in the family for decades and generations... and it shows. There are so many cool flourishes that give the inn and pub character. I especially like all the old-fashioned toys and games that are great for keeping kids entertained. While I can't speak to the quality of the rooms (we have a house nearby), we've since made it a tradition to eat here at least once every time we visit Killington.
Showed up at the last minute with about 40 people on a Sunday evening. They we're glad to see us and gave us fast, polite service. Food was excellent, too. Wonderful atmosphere!
