Definitely a weird vibe here. People are creepy nice, read up on it before you go (I wish I had). Ruben sandwich was medicore.

Absolutely amazing food and service, my fiancee and I went in for a late night dinner tonight neither one of us had ever been there before. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and service was great. Will definitely be going back there this will be one our regular date night spots for sure! The Atmosphere is very relaxing and the interior is beautiful and rustic. Absolutely stunning little hidden gem of restaurant in rutland!

One of my favorite spots in the Rutland area. I go here almost every week for lunch and the people and the food are consistently awesome. Everyone is always very nice and welcoming and food is always great, very high quality! Highly recommended

I know this place has a wacky reputation, but honestly if you want really good food and hospitality - this is the place to go! All of their bread and produce is super fresh and mostly homemade/picked from their farm. The place has a rustic charm filled will impressive carpentry and murals. If you’re vegan/vegetarian they have options! Their veggie burger is the literally the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. Also, make sure you try their Root Beer on tap - it’s amazing!
P.S. If you’re hiking the AT/LT, staying at the “Hiker Hostel” above the deli is a MUST DO trail experience. The accommodations are clean and it’s all donation-based. Free laundry, soap, shower, and don’t miss out on the hiker breakfast!
