(September 30, 2019, 1:08 am)We were passing through and caught the Sunday lunch buffet. The food was good, but it was way overpriced. A mix of breakfast and comfort food lunch items for $16/person, and drinks were not included.

(July 24, 2019, 12:46 am)While working in the Barre, Montpelier area I went searching for a local area steak house and came across the Steak House Restaurant. Some of the reviews I read were not favorable but they based their low ratings on having a grilled cheese sandwich or spaghetti. Wanting a steak I gave it a try. I could not have been more pleased. The owner Toni, and my server Melissa, went out of their way to make sure everything was as good as it could be. The top sirloin steak I had was cooked to perfection and tender. If you want grilled cheese or spaghetti go where they feature those types of items. But if you want a very good steak and great service give The Steakhouse Restaurant a try.
