    I love Wayside for breakfast food - their eggs and home fries are always delicious! I'm not a coffee drinker, but my family loves the taste of their coffee. I love the dessert specials as well; I'm looking forward to eating my slice of cheesecake pie!

    Great diner food. If you're gluten free there are a few items on the menu including French toast with real VT maple syrup. Check out the daily specials for the best deals. Quick service.

    Great Dry Martinis and other cocktails and classic 1950s food!!

    Good Americana “Leave It To Beaver” style food!!

    The place must be declared a historic landmark!! The logos and interiors are precious!!

    Lots of parking right off the main Montpelier-Barre local route.

    Lots of local farm and working folks having a well deserved robust meal!! They KNOW price/value.

    Great service always!! If you have a sense for what America was like 60 years ago then come enjoy this Vermont roadside GEM!!

    We as locals/yokels come here weekly.

    A great diner! It is an established main stay for the area. Welcoming atmosphere. The bacon is great in addition to the pancakes and french toast. The restaurant is always almost full. Has an ease into the morning feel.

    This place is great for fast breakfast service! Lots of homemade desserts if you save room. The home fries are a must if you're having breakfast, but they do also serve lunch and dinner. The hot turkey sandwich is fantastic for a later meal. If you see a line at the door, don't worry! The line moves quick, there is lots of space (tables) inside and the service is fast.
