Mad River Barn

Me n my wife just had a private wedding dinner their recently, just the 2 of us. I have nothing but great things to say. The food, atmoshere, n service was top notch. I reccomend this place if youre in the area.

I attended my niece’s wedding at the Mad River Barn and I enjoyed the whole event very much. The staff did an excellent job attending to the guests. It was a full service facility, with outdoor areas for the ceremony and open air bar and a large covered area for the reception. The bar area in the inn was great for before event activities and after hours activities. The owner, Andy, took an keen interest in the entire event and checked on his guests personally. I enjoyed myself tremendously. Nice job. Since I didn’t stay in any of the rooms, I didn’t rate them.

Okay, so I usually don't leave reviews, but to not leave one praising the experience I had here would be an insult... I came here with a few friends for a birthday dinner after a week of skiing, and had some of the best service and food I've ever had in 8 years of coming to Vermont. Absolutely beautiful location, great food, and an incredibly impressive server who somehow managed to serve about 15 different tables at the same time while still giving great service to each of them. I would have had a literal nervous breakdown trying to do what the staff here did. We even brought a snowboarder with us, and despite my best efforts, I was unable to get the staff to kick her out, so no discrimination here! On a more serious note, thanks for everything guys. Had an awesome time here, and will definitely be back!

Easy key pick up/drop off. Beautiful and cool atmosphere. Rustic vibes. Loved the cleanliness and the decor! Comfy beds and bedding! Bunk beds were spacious and cozy! Breakfast was outstanding and the cook was very friendly. The only negative I could think of was that the plumbing was very loud and anytime someone showered or flushed their toilet at night, it would wake us up.

Mad River Barn was unbelievable. They went above and beyond every chance they could. We came here for my sister's wedding and never wanted to leave. The staff here are absolutely incredible. Everyone was super accommodative, nice and just genuinely excited for the event. Sam, Caleb and Robin in the kitchen are unreal. Great food, amazing hospitality and just good people. Adrienne, Andy and all the front of the house staff made everything happen with such cool confidence and amazing attention to detail. It made my wife and I want to get married again (to each other) just so we could do it at Mad River Barn. Whether you're just staying the night or planning one of the most important days of your life, this place has it all. We can't wait to come back!
