The food was mediocre, prices were high, last call was fairly early, and other than atmosphere, I was generally unimpressed.

Monday’s are half-priced food, that can lead to some reasonable deals. Had smoked Salmon corn chowder, excellent. (1/2 price $4.50) Burger was average (1/2 price $8.00) Lasagne not bad (over priced at $25, 1/2 price $12.50) Drinks are full price. Beautiful building, great views, weather awesome. Disappointed they did not allow outside seating(!?!?) Underwhelming high school wait staff. And yes, pevious review mentioned the bartender from Tom’s River NJ, and he is still there. Didn’t ignore us but was a goof ball so we ignored him and did not sit at bar.

We stopped in to meet friends who were staying at nearby Claybrook for a beer. Love the atmosphere with the high ceiling and timber framing. Wait staff was nice. There was even a shot ski we tried. If you have not seen one, four people can take a shot at the same time. Kudos for Rumbles having one!

Excellent food, service and amenities. Our server, Mike, made us feel right at home. It is off season, so not crowded, but everyone eating and at th he bar were enjoying themselves. Had the NY steak done med rare perfectly. Chef specializes appetizers, veggies, fried pickles, fries, etc were exceptional. Fantastic desert choices, too. Will return often.
