On thursdays its mexican special night. I ordered enchiladas and they were so flavorful and tasted amazing!!! Also got a margarita that was very enjoyable!!
We visited Putney VT to do a college tour with our son. We got in late on Friday and just went to the restaurant next to our hotel. What a mistake. The next morning while driving to the college we past J.D.'s. My husband and I decided we were going to go there for dinner after the tour. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID. The place was so cool looking. The whole staff was friendly, food was great and view was beautiful. But what made us knew we were making the right decision to make this our regular stop if our son gets excepted to the college is the conversation we had with the owner and a local sitting outside having a conversation with him( might of been his wife). From the time we walked in ( at the time we didn't know he was the owner) he was very nice. When we were leaving we thanked him and wound up having a very pleasant conversation with them. We felt very at home. If you want to relax and have a great dinner. You will find it there. The place is really cool looking too. Oh we also regretted not getting the wings because when they went past us for another table they were huge and looked amazing.
A great experience and JD and his family are lovely folks!!
Great food, great ambiance, great bartender. I will definitely come back, Tuesday nights, with Eliza, and eat another delicious Cobb Salad. Nice red wine selection as well, as a full bar. The burger that my companion had was excellent, two hand made patties, (They cook quicker and with more crispy grill bits!) with cheese on a delicious brioche bun. Place hits a local home run with me. Right on Route 5, very close to Landmark College.
Best salmon I’ve ever had! Cooked to absolute perfection! All our food was great but the glazed salmon really stood out. Highly recommend this place, a hidden gem for sure.
