Alpenglow Bistro

My wife and I loved our experience here. The staff and layout are very welcoming. Craft cocktails and entrees and dessert exceeded our expectations. Crepes, salad, schnitzel, and strudel were excellent. Give it a try.

This was a fantastic surprise! We broke up a trip to Maine by overnighting at the Vermont House in Wilmington. The Alpenglow was new since we last stayed here through winter 2020. It helped to be walking distance when the cocktails are this good!

Food was fantastic quality, accompanied by friendly efficient service. Creative decor and a great vibe. Schnitzel was top of our list but the Apple strudel was a children favourite.

Well worth the visit!

Wonderful and surprising gem in the middle of Wilmington VT. Best onion soup I ever had, amazing cocktails and delicious food, fresh wonderful pastries and the owner and the waitress are so welcoming and nice! They thought about every little detail 🌸 Definitely the best way to celebrate my birthday!!!!

For a new restaurant, they amazingly, did everything right when we ate there this week. There are some outside seating that is first come first served, but they were kind enough to bold me a table when I called and told them we were right across the street. The food was excellent and so was the service. The Apple Strudel was warm and authentic. Hope they do well with their new endeavor.

Amazing all around; the atmosphere, service, dinner, and everything was perfectly done. We felt as though we were transported back to Europe for what was an amazing experience. Alpenglow Bistro has elevated food to a new level here in Wilmington!
