Just happened to pass by on our trip in Chincoteague and knew I had to stop. Got ribs, pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, mac and cheese and their special cucumbers in vinegar. The seasoning on the ribs was delicious, they were just a little overdone. My boys, who never like ribs, could not get enough. My wife absolutely loved the cucumbers, they were top notch. My son completely devoured all of the pulled pork sandwich. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, just a little lacking in flavor. Everyone's favorite thing about the meal was the sauces though. We tried all of them and one was better than the next. Wherever we're in the neighborhood again. We will be back!
A bit pricey, but the bbq sandwiches are huge and delicious from the bread to the sauce and slaw. Even my kids loved them! Mac and cheese was also awesome. Skip the corn bread, though... way too expensive for a mediocre small muffin.
Had the pulled pork sandwich with their red bbq sauce was delicious. Also had their baked beans with meat which was also excellent. Owner came out an gave me a wing to try with their new sauce, Alabama white sauce which really was an interesting great flavor I never had. All around great place to eat!
Oh my gosh this place is AMAZING!!! Family owned and operated from his front yard!! The soup is phenomenal! I mean, it's all absolutely amazing! The brisket is a MUST! We had to stop and get a whole bunch of family size to take home with us! Definately recommend and we now know where we'll be eating every time we come!
