We all ate the AYCE Snow Crab Legs and Shrimp platters that Steamers offers. Yes, you pay market price for fresh seafood, but they did an excellent job serving it hot and cooked just right, making it all the better.

The sides of fried chicken, hush puppies, fried clams, sweet corn (which was just as good as our home grown PA corn:) and sweet potato rolls were great as well, even though we focused on the crab legs and shrimp.

The waitress was very personable and despite being very busy, made sure we were all taken care of. They went above and beyond even as busy as they were that evening.

We started our vacation week eating dinner at Steamers and no other place we went for dinner was able to match our experience at Steamers. If we had to do it again, we would have eaten at Steamers every night of our vacation. Can't wait to go back on vacation again.

This was our second time my wife and I had eaten here. The first visit we sat at he bar and had mainly their fried items which were great. This time we sat in the restaurant and ordered a steamer platter and broiled platter. We really wanted to love this place but for the price, the food was WAY overcooked.

My steamer platter included snow crabs, clams, oysters and shrimp. My wife’s broiled platter included shrimp, fish, scallops, oysters and crab cakes. Her shrimp, scallops and fish were VERY overcooked. They were dry, rubbery and tough. My snow crabs would not pop when cracked and the meat was stuck to the inside of the shells. That is a classic sign that they were overcooked. For a “steamer” seafood restaurant I expected them to have the steaming down to a science.

For those that wouldn’t know any different I guess it would be ok. You pay a high price but get a large amount of seafood. I have cooked crab legs before and they turned out better.

All in all if you want a lot of food, don’t know how seafood is supposed to be cooked and don’t mind paying a lot for it this is your place. If not go to The Village. Their platter is around the same price and you get more food and it was cooked perfectly.

Steamers is a super casual place with lots of choices. Seafood was really tasty. Daughter liked her pasta dish. It is good food at an affordable price. Service was attentive and friendly.
