    We had the fish sandwich and the blacken tuna sandwich. Each was EXCELLENT. Hush puppies were great. Resturant was filled, our wait was short and Lindsey, our waitress, was excellent too. Please stop by this family resturant and have a authentic seafood meal.

    This was our first trip to Chincoteague Island, and we wanted to have at least one authentic seafood dinner. I'm so glad that we found Ray's Shanty.
    The food and service were both excellent. The prices were reasonable for what you receive.
    This place is not on Chincoteague Island, but it totally worth the 20 min (or less) drive.

    Great shrimp special! Very good as usual...large shrimp, tasty hush puppies, and delicious Cole slaw. Our waitress, Stephanie, did an exceptional job!

    Friendly staff,really has the Eastern Shore atmosphere. Food was great as usual.Prices are moderate with options to suit anyone. The waitress was helpful in selecting menu items to someone in our party on a fixed income. Much of the menu is fried. Portions are very generous. The Neptune soup is cream based seafood soup that all seem to love.

    Awesome place the seafood was fresh. We had to wait a little while but it was worth the wait. We ordered fish,scallops, snow crab legs and shrimp. The portions were huge, oh you have to try the hush puppies unlike anything i have ever had. Well worth the money.

    Nice place..went looking for some trout fish. Reasonable price crab meat and jumbo shrimps. Will be going back again, Friendly sales lady
