Authentic food, fiesta atmosphere, attentive staff. One of our favorites! We eat here frequently. You won't regret having a margarita!

This was my Mexican restaurant of choice when I lived in Charlottesville. The food there was ALWAYS delicious, arrived quickly and hot. This day was no different. Service here is always quick with pleasant hosts and servers. Guadalajara gets my most solid five star rating.

Generally for a taste of Mexican, their food comes out expediently; such was not the case on this particular visit. The food is always good quality with the rich taste one expects however and in their defense, we had a storm come through which knocked out some power. I suspect they may have been caught unaware but the waitress was apologetic but no provisions were extended. There are 4 in the area and I generally choose to frequent this particular location. I will continue to be a patron although if this happens again under seemingly normal circumstances, I will take my business elsewhere.

We went for my brother-in-law's birthday. They have a couple of tables that can seat a large group. We arrived mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Great time to go with a large party. Service was fantastic. Even brought us out a new set of silverware and cake plates. Food was very good and enjoyed by all as evidenced by the number of empty plates.

Food was good. Nothing stellar but it has some high points. The enchilada sauce tonight was rich and smoky but not terribly complex. The salsa was a fair bit spicier than it had been in the past. All in all not bad. The price is reasonable and the service is attentive but not aggressive.
