Everything was excellent, from the pulled pork to the sauces, sides and corn bread. Highly recommend! Great for celiacs or others with gluten intolerance.

There are many barbecue opportunities in the Charlottesville area... This is one of the best! Great selection of homemade sauces. Get sides like collard greens, jalapeno cream corn, cornbread, homemade coleslaw. Nice ever-changing selection of beers. Also recommended is visiting their rooftop restaurant in the same building offering a different and more sophisticated menu. You can sit at the rooftop patio and dine while looking out at the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!

The food is great. It's just really good. My coworkers all go to lunch on Fridays and we consistently choose Smoked every other week. If you're not into meat this might not be the place for you, although the salads I've had were also solid.

Smell and atmosphere is amazing if you like to smell barbecue. Friendly staff and food is brought out quickly. Nachos are amazing.

Amazing pork BBQ, but the collards and cornbread aren't what you'd expect from a BBQ place. Collards were cooked until they had no texture at all (resembling frozen spinach..) and the cornbread was super sweet with vanilla in it. I like my cornbread sweet, but it was a bit too much.

And we had superb service! Great beer selection and the cocktail menu looks intriguing :) try the cheesey bacon potatoes!
