Charlie's On The Avenue

I have been several times with my teenage boys. Every time we go things (service, food, menu) seem to get better. First, the good news. Last night, a young man that has been our waiter a few times started singing and playing the guitar and he was great! I wish I had known, I would have come later and planned to stay. He mentioned he was there until 10pm.

Last night 2 of 3 of us thought it was a bit bland? My son ordered the sliders, a Wednesday night special. The other meal was a Cuban sandwich. It was fine, just a bit plain and greasy? The pork did not seem right for a Cuban sandwich? My salad was just fine. I never get much lettuce, but overall it tasted good. Of course we will be back, I did not get a chance to have anything from Happy Hour, and the prices were great! I hope the singer is a regular thing?!

So good! Great prices and food is really nicely done. The vegan tacos are amazing. I'm so glad there's this neighborhood bar!

Great local place! The staff is upbeat and friendly. They have a bar, TV’s, and good food. We were checked on by the hostess and owner in addition to our waiter. Great service and delicious food, go check it out!

Customer service was great! I felt welcomed and everyone was so nice! Prices are good too. I would only recommend that the Spanish dip not be so watery. Veggie taco was pretty good but a little dry.

I am really hoping this place succeed and I will be going back.

The food was very tasty. We got vegan tacos, the mushroom sandwich, and fried mozzarella. The vegan tacos are some of the best vegetarian tacos I've ever tasted. The mushroom sandwich was actually a homemade mushroom/veggie patty, it was really flavorful and good with the goat cheese. I personally don't care for the sports bar atmosphere but I liked the prices and that it was casual. The Charlie's Lager was also quite good!
