They are pretty honest

My brother took me here today...he knows the owners very well as he is a police officer. Food was very delicious! Plus you get a lot of food for a good price. Will come back when I'm in the area again no doubt!

So I stroll in to the establishment solo at around 3:30 PM on a Thursday. There's a young man in his late to mid 20's watching a soccer game at one of the tables with a 10 year old boy getting in on his iPad. So, the guy sees me, stands up, and goes behind the menu. I'm checking out the menu for the customary whole chicken family deal with 2 large sides which you can usually get at roasted chicken style places like these. Nothing is cooking on the grill, no chicken churning on the roaster, and no sides. He shows me the deal I'm looking for and I got a whole chicken with fried plantains and yucca. Food came out in about 10 mins....chicken was cooked through and the plantains were very soft inside but had a pleasant sweet outer shell. 3 stars....compared to Sardi's across the bridge, the food lacked the deep marinated roasted flavor I'm accustomed to from these roasted chicken venues but the food was fine for the price.
