Service was outstanding. Food was delicious, fresh, authentic, fast served and this place is so warm, cozy and clean! Loved my experience and I’ll be back for more because I don’t think I got enough of it today!!
Tried this place because another was closing too soon, so I wasn't quite dressed the part, I suppose. The people around me received chopsticks, we received forks; we were getting looks from other patrons.
The waiter was nice enough, but we had a hard time understanding his accent over the hum of the dinner crowd. Mostly simple things, but notably when we asked for extra noodles (says $3 on the menu); I was saving my broth and garnish because I heard that they were coming out separately, but my girlfriend later told me that he said they were already in the bowl. I get the bill, and extra noodles weren't even on it, so they never put them in. No idea what happened there, but we were both disappointed throughout, and left hungry.
Bartender didn't know some of the menu yet friendly enough. Love the location. Sea bass best dish on menu. Finally, a chef who knows how to cook sea bass!
The food was truly awesome! It was exactly what I hope from Vietnamese: subtle flavors deliciously blended. The menu was just right with a great variety of dishes but not overwhelming choices. Still trying to figure out the decor but it worked. Service was attentive and it was pretty busy for a Sunday night MLK weekend.
We just came back from Saigon last week and still a little home sick. We were looking for a convenient Vietnamese restaurant and came by this new restaurant. We looked through the menu and found out that this place does breakfast street food. We had to go. We were not disappointed. The server was attentive, walking us through the brunch menu. We practically went down the list and tried most everything. Though some of the dishes was not a faithful recreation, it passes. Overall, we love the experience of having most everything all in one place and in a charming environment. We look forward to coming back with friends.
