Good sandwiches but long prep time. Even when the place is empty, it seems to take a long time to get something like a steak & cheese. It's good, though. And the service is friendly.

Great local spot for good coffee, breakfast and brunch! I always try to stop in when I’m in town. It’s a special little place that may remind you of simpler times.

I absolutely loved this place. My friends and I stayed in Old Town Alexandria for 2 nights and each morning we went here for breakfast. We all loved it. The British inspired food items are excellent and the coffee is the best I've ever had. Not to mention the owner and staff were impressively friendly.

In a world where the proper cooking technique for eggs has been nearly lost... In comes Extra Perks. Want an over easy eggs with firm white and hot runny yellow? Want moist but fully cooked scrambled? Want a truly over medium egg? This is your spot. We are brunchers and if we lived here we would eat here every week.

My husband and I found this little place on Google and decided to try it out for breakfast. It's a quaint little place with a diner type atmosphere. The food according to my husband is "the best breakfast I've had in a long time" and I second that thought. The food was not overly greasy and tasted fresh. Would definitely stop by this place again if I was in the area!
