Laporta's Restaurant

This place was absolutely amazing from the very beginning. Had reservations and was seated promptly. Nice, romantic ambiance. The live jazz perfomers were great, filled the air with jazz rhythms I love. The food was perfection, kudos to the chef. Service and staff very nice, warming and professional. Loved every minute

Wonderful place to eat if you like good food at reasonable prices. We have visited on Tuesday and enjoyed the wonderful pianist while we leisurely and comfortably enjoyed our meals. Laporta's is a favorite with the locals so be sure to make reservations and be prepared to wait a bit.

i saw a photo of the BBQ Steak and Mac and Cheese on my friend's instagram story and had to try this place! It was awesome. I made a reservation online, and there was a table ready for us! I would suggest asking for a reservation by the lounge by the music. We did not know to ask for that so we sat in the restaurant side because the lounge was full. It was still great ambiance and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the hanger steak. The music was lovely as well. We will definitely be back!

One of my new favorite finds in Alexandria. The happy hour deals are some of the best in town and the bar eats are probably just the best in NOVA. Easy walk from the metro, not your run of the mill King St happy hour.... probably because it is a few blocks from king st.

Plenty of parking near by if you're smart about it

If you like live Jazz and good Food Laporta's is a must for the Washington, DC area.
The music is just right for dining. Dancing optional. Unlike most Jazz venues the food
is excellent .. Focus on Italian seafood and steaks .. A good wine list... Creative bartender ..
Attentive friendly staff ...Very special ... Very romantic. I love it !
