We love this place for their weekly pre-ordered “supper” and vegan donuts. The vegan enchiladas had a lot of flavor, as did the broccoli mac and cheese. I’ve been really impressed by their Boston cream eclairs! Parking could be challenging at peak times, but that’s Old Town. (And definitely try the speakeasy inside!)
Really great coffee and donuts, but beware of their quiches. I had no idea it was vegan the first time I ordered and it was the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. Love the customer service here and willing to try other vegan options but I don’t think I could ever go for another quiche.
I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about as far as the donuts are concerned but they are fantastic. The cake donuts are flavorful and cruelty free. Great for dunking in a nice hot cup of coffee! Likewise, the vegan chicken sandwich is absolutely amazing. This is one of the few all vegan restaurants/cafes in Alexandria and as a vegan it is quite a refreshing find. Even if you are not vegan you should certainly stop by for a cup of coffee or your favorite espresso drink and a donut. Try it all!
The coconut caramel donuts here are THE BEST donuts I've ever had, bar none. A massive plus is that all of the food here is vegan, which is a godsend for me being severely lactose intolerant. Place is always clean, staff is super friendly and it's a neatly designed little cafe. Highly recommend
I absolutely love this place. They have delicious donuts and cafe food. Their vegan chicken is definitely my favorite. Come here!! You won’t regret it.
