This place is fantastic! Great Chinese is REALLY hard to find and this is by far the best place in the Old Town area. I love the shrimp and broccoli (ask for chili oil on the side of you like it spicy). The lunch specials are extremely affordable too! My vegetarian boyfriend loves the general tso tofu. The staff is friendly and extremely accommodating! Their menu selection is huge and sure to please those of you who enjoy a mix of Japanese and Chinese offerings in the same place. This is absolutely our new go-to Chinese restaurant.
4.9? Get real. It's the same (good quality) food you get at other 4 star restaurants. It's 5 stars if you can't decide whether you want Thai, Chinese or Japanese until you sit down...the menu is impressive.
The service is rushed even when it's not busy. Leave my 4 rice grains..i want them brah.
My family ate here when we were on vacation a week or so ago. The manager was very kind and was attentive to all of our needs as we were eating. Not to mention how tasty the food was! I highly recommend for a nice time out. ((We had the bento boxes for lunch and they were some of the best ones I’ve ever had))
I am in Alexandria for business and just happened to walk by. Decided I would give it a try and....WOW!!! The food was OUTSTANDING. The salad had this amazing ginger dressing and I highly recommend the Godzilla Roll. They are still waiting on their liquor license but the food and VERY friendly service more than made up for it. Best $20 dinner I have ever had!!!!!
Admittedly, I was a little skeptical about this place. We had a really bad experience at the former restaurant a few years ago, and was worried that maybe this was simply a reboot of the old restaurant. How happy I was to be wrong! The food was excellent, the service was speedy, and the prices were more than reasonable. We had perfectly cooked steamed dumplings, a jalapeno sushi appetizer that was really good, General Tso with delicious fried rice, and a Thai basil dish that was really good. So excited to finally have a good Asian takeout place here in Old Town!
