Enjoyed our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner here. They really took great care of us.

It's a very quaint restaurant with friendly staff. The food was delicious with portions I prefer as someone who doesn't enjoy leftovers. I avoid chain restaurants because they tend to not put much love into their food which is why I choose small businesses like this where the food is excellent.

Charming staff, excellent food, and a cozy atmosphere made for one of the best dinners my family and I have had in a long time. We stopped at the Cat & Owl after spending the day at the nearby Virginia Safari Park, and it turned out to be just what we needed before the ride home.

What we had: Prime rib, chicken Alfredo, and lobster Alfredo were all delicious and well-portioned. Their broccoli was VERY buttery, so ask for less if you don't like lots (happily, we do)! The sautéed mushrooms may have been cooked in white wine - I thought I detected a hint - so ask first if you are alcohol-free.

The service was very, very good! The food was also great! My hubby's tuna was ordered rare and came out medium, but everything else was spot on. Hannah and her mom were so sweet and helpful. We'll def be back!
