The lunch buffet is surprisingly decent and tastes like above-average canteen food. They got a mix of authentic and Americanized stuff (Oreos and canned lychees for dessert, who would’ve thought!). The buffet spread is not particularly large like other Chinese buffet places, but a couple of items, such as fried fishcake, cauliflower and double-cooked pork, are enjoyable.
I love the fact that this location has two menus. One menu is everything you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. The second menu is somewhat authentic Chinese food. I ordered soup and a main dish, Both from the authentic menu. The hostess was ok, the service was fine, the server was friendly and the food service was fairly fast for a restaurant.
Had take out my 1st night in town. It was OK, but kinda bland. Gave dine in a try tonight.
Rice Veggie Noodles were so dry I nearly choked, no sauce at all. The scallop plate in brown sauce was decent. Best part was the steamed veggie dumplings. Very good, flavorful, perfectly steamed. Service was... "off". Asked for lemon for my water, literally received 1 lemon wedge! Lol
Asked for some additional lemon, received half a wedge! Hysterical, right? Edible but not incredible!
