I understand a "no-frills" concept, however, the price point isn't really no-frills. Especially for the level of service received. We didn't mind the no-frills decor or table set up or silverware, etc. However, there still is an expectation for service, especially if you're tipping at a % of the total bill. We ordered 2 NY strips medium-rare which came out cooked differently. We asked the well-done to be re-cooked. There was no apology, nothing, in fact there was annoyance in our server's face. It's not our fault the kitchen can't cook 2 steaks the same. I threw our server an attitude, which she finally took a hint and a manager came over and apologized for the steak an gave us a cheesecake for dessert to make up for the mistake. Honestly, the steaks weren't seasoned all that well, it was no different than if we cooked our own steaks at home. I would rather pay a tad more for a great steakhouse experience. Skip this establishment.

I want to so bad give this place 5 stars but I just can't. The food was very good and the service outstanding. Yet, there was just something missing to put it over the top. Price wise not too bad; $120 for party of 2... appetizer, main dish, and desert but no alcohol. Would I eat here again? Most definitely... Who knows, next time may be 5 stars.

First off: I'm not qualified to review this restaurant besides the decor and price. I don't eat beef. I know, long story as to how I ended up in a steakhouse. The prices are on the higher end even for an upscale steak joint. The interior is spartan with few decorations, reminding me more of a post church service dining room. The crab bisque was okay.

I have been coming for 10 years and have never had a bad experience. The service is good, and staff is friendly. I have been offered free dessert when asked to switch tables to accommodate a larger party. the food is excellent and reasonably priced. This is a low-frills restaurant. It is not a place you are going to be fawned over or linger at. I have out of town friends, who this is a destination meal each time they visit. Thanks for for great food and service.

I was a little disappointed this visit as they were out of the cowboy steak. But otherwise, I typically feel its a solidly good meal for an affordable price. The sides that come with the meal are good, endless so plentiful. Service is good as well. For a good steak I would definitely recommend.
