The food here is just phenomenal. There’s always a crowd here that’s how you can tell it’s good. It wouldn’t hurt if the cashier smiled at the customers. Never seen him friendly towards customers.

Every time I'm in DC I have to eat at this place. Friendly service and outstanding food. The chickpeas are definitely my favorite.

I have known this place for years. The food is good. However, I feel the quality of food has degraded lately. Additionally, the longer waits to get orders ready makes it inconvenient location for lunch. It's best to go there later in the day, less busier. Also, since it's busy during lunch, there is huge possibility you may not be able to find available seat.

You won't know how good the food is until you really try it! It's authentic! I've been eating there for years and never been disappointed. I miss it so much now that I moved far away but never miss a chance to eat there every time I come to town. Yes it gets crowded sometimes so it takes forever to get your food or seat, yes you might want to call place your order before you get there for faster service. That's what makes this restaurant unique. The side rice has variety of sauces to choose from! Shareable plates are great if you have a big family. The bread is made fresh every time. Meat is juicy and so tender! Lamb shops combo is my favorite dish????
