The service here is absolutely wonderful! Everyone is super nice and patient! We were celebrating my uncle's 89th birthday and thus had to seniors with us and the staff was great with them. I also appreciated that they let me bring an outside cake so we could celebrate with it after our dinner. I will certainly visit them again!
Visited w/my moms coworkers & friends to celebrate a birthday. We had fun and really enjoyed ourselves. The service was really good. Our server was always available and everyone received exactly what they ordered. We didn't have any issues and the reservation was kept and we were immediately seated upon arrival. Enjoyed the environment and live music from the mariachi band.
Years ago, I used to live down the street from El Paso, and when we felt wealthy we would go there for dinner. It is a fine restsurant now, more than ten years later. The food is authentic, the menu has the same good food and some updates to match the neighborhoods changes, and the people serving are the best to dine with.
This is a great place for Tex Mex. In fact, it’s a little well kept secret. This was George W Bush’s favorite place in town.
The chips and salsa are great. There’s a nice, but not overwhelming heat in the salsa and the chips are nice and crunchy and fresh.
They have lots of choices for all diets. The vegetarian section has some really nice offerings.
This is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy!
We’ve been going to El Paso Cafe since they opened in 1992, almost weekly. They treat us like family. I always bring my out of town guests (and my office mates as well) for lunch or dinner. Even President George W. Bush enjoyed a meal here. Tequila night is a fun time to visit. If you’re in Arlington and want a great meal that is reasonably priced, then El Paso Cafe is a must.
