The waiter came to me and was initially friendly. I ordered the Pole Bowl with Salmon, and I didn’t like it. The mixture had ingredients I liked but the dish lacked seasoning. Also, the salmon was completely raw. I expected seared or cooked fish. The waiter informed me, the poke bowl at this restaurant always has raw fish. But they can cook the fish for me. So he took it back. I’m writing this review as I am waiting for my new $24 poke bowl with cooked fish. I ordered a Sage cocktail and it was weak and not tasty as well. It tasted bland, like sparking water. The temperature of the air in the restaurant is literally cold. I have a hooded heavy sweatshirt I put on, that is allowing me to handle the cold temp right now. I just received my 2n Poke bowl. The fish is cooked this time. But bland tasting. I will ask for some hot sauce or soy sauce, which is my go to, in these situations. Which I prefer not to hv to do bc I did I don’t need the added Salt. The waiter just checked on me. He said he has soy and hot sauces. So I will enjoy this meal soon. He brought the soy, but not the house. I’m not gonna ask again it may hv been a language thing or background noise issue. There are other restaurants rated higher in the area I could have walked to from the Embassy Suites. This one is just across the st. But given this experience, it may have been worth the walk to just walk a couple minutes more.

I debated stopping by for dinner or walking back to my hotel, but saw the energy on a Monday night and the outdoor seating and thought it looked inviting. I ordered a local beer, Brussels sprouts and a fried chicken sandwich Nashville style, with fries as crispy as the kitchen could stand to make them. I loved every bite, and my server Lindsay paced everything perfectly, checking in often but not pesteringly too much. I’d definitely return to try other options, including the bread pudding that I saw the table next to me order two but I was too full to try.

It's a cool bar and was glad when it opened in the neighborhood. I've been a handful of times and each time the service workers have been kind of cold, like they don't want to work there. I get it, it's just a job, but you have to at least pretend you want to do this job and make people feel welcomed. I think the idea is to get people to want to return. The hostess was also not that pleasant. I can write an entire book on here, but it's not necessary. The food is mediocre and the drinks are average. Definitely not the best spot in the neighborhood! I am somewhat disappointed because I was hoping for it to become a nice neighborhood bar, but after the consistent unwelcoming vibe, it will never be my first choice.. If I return, it would be due to pure laziness of not wanting to walk further to catch a happy hour. Lol Oh well. Maybe I expect too much.

Really delicious meal and enjoyable experience. Great service despite the lunch crowd, our food arrived quickly and warm. Excellent flavors and combinations. We had the nachos, flat iron steak & fries and Moroccan 'impossible' kabobs. The spices and combinations were delicious! We will definitely return!

Staff handled our large lunch party with ease. Our group tried many of the meals and no one seemed the least bit disappointed. I had the Alfredo pasta with chicken which was delicious and very filling. Staff provided us sparkling water upon sitting and then got requested drinks. They currently have dry January drink options for those interested. The location is also decorated well with cute touches throughout the decor
