Mattie and Eddie’s Irish Bar and Restaurant

We had a great family meal here. The beer was of course excellent, but we were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The steak was nice as was the fish and chips and everything else we ordered. Great place!

For being brand new they knocked it out of the park from the start. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, great menu, and decently priced beer.

They have an excellent sausage roll (sausage made in house!) not pictured because we ate it too fast, the fish and chips were amazing and battered to perfection, and the burger (topped with the egg) was also great!

I will be more than happy to go back again.

Enjoyed a nice visit to M&E's Friday afternoon and had the Shenandoah Valley Striploin. Have lived in Arlington for 15 years and eaten at most of our high-end steakhouses. Honestly, this was the best steak I've had in recent memory. Thanks Chef!!!

Had lunch there today and was attended by the most delightful and pleasant waitress ever. Marade was exceptional and very helpful overall the place has a great atmosphere and great service

New place with revamped Irish menu. Had lunch there today, we had excellent service by our server Matthew who was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The food arrived fast. We had Eamonn fish & chips and the M&E burger. The fish was fried to perfection; really loved the crunchy top layer and the assortment of sauces that came with the dish. The burger was juicy and delicious, you can tell that it was made with very good quality lean beef and flavourful spices. If you won't go for alcohol I recommend the Ceremony coffee; perfectly roasted, strong and flavourful without the bitterness. Portions are very good and overall ambience is friendly. Will definitely come back.
