Went there this last Thursday with friends. The hostess, Ruth greeted us at the door and recommended her favorite meal (Meda Combo, which was on point!) and mentioned that they have live music on Saturdays. We enjoyed the food and service and will definitely come back on a Saturday to partake in the food and live music.
Our server name is Ruth, I really admired the way how she takes care of us, she is focused on everything she does and make sure we are satisfied, the owner is lucky to have Ruth in this restaurant. I and my family feel like coming back by the way how Ruth took care of us.
Very yummy injera & tibs
Atmosphere super chill
A whole cultural vibe ~ will be back
Parking was decent
Live music is always a plus
What a fabulous Saturday night evening spent here. I’m dog sitting for dear friends and found myself solo, hungry, and wanting to eat out in Bailey’s crossroads / Columbia Forest. I happened to come here this morning to grab a cappuccino to go (which was fabulous) and decided venture here for dinner as well. I cannot wait to bring my friends back here and try more items. As it is Ramadan, there was a lovely dinner buffet option (as well as a la carte) but I went with the buffet and had the opportunity to try many of their lentil and vegetable options paired with a fantastic selection of domestic and Ethiopian beers (drafts and bottles). I topped off the night with their Ethiopian spiced tea while listening to live music. Service was beyond phenomenal. Everyone here, staff and patrons, are here to enjoy each other’s company.
Great food, i tried for the first time the Ethiopian food, and for the first time i tried the Ethiopian raw meat. Highly recommend it.
