Sakina's Kabab and Gyros

What an amazing meal. The food is fresh to order and you can tell in the taste. I felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal. The amazing flavors and perfectly grilled meats were some of the best food I have had. Definitely the best food option in the mall and in pentagon city. The staff is friendly and fast. I had the combo plate with chicken and lamb- amazing! 🤩

This is a great option if you’re shopping in the mall or in the area and do not have the stomach for another fast food chain meal. I got the combo plate at the suggestion of the manager, which featured delicious and tender skewers of seasoned beef and chicken along with a side of Chana Masala. Could not finish it all, but wished I could have! The atmosphere is rated a two only because you are eating shoulder to shoulder in a food court!

After getting on the wrong train in Washington DC and ending up near Dulles Airport, we were pretty hungry by the time we made it back to our Pentagon City stop in the Fashion Center Mall. I soon forgot about it all after eating the best meal I’ve had in the. DC area, and it was at Sakina’s Kabob and Gyro in the food court. My wife had the Chicken Tikka Gyro, and I had the Lamb Kabobs with rice, Chik peas, salad, naan bread and dessert. The kabob was so juicy and flavorful and everything else was savory and very well prepared. I’ll get on the wrong train any day, as long as my last stop is at Sakina’s. Great food, and great service. I highly recommend it!

Sakina’s at the food court in Pentagon City has definitely got my taste buds in a happy place right now. I ordered the #1 (Chicken Tikka Boti) and am so loving it. First off, for $13.99 I got 6 chunks of delicious chicken, served over fluffy rice, chickpeas, salad and a pita. EVERYTHING was very well seasoned! I love fresh herbs so having it topped with chopped cilantro just made it even more of a treat. Also, the lemonade is really good, tastes like they used real lemons! I have to DD that my Husband’s only comment was that he wished they served a larger pita (or gave you two of the mini ones)…Overall: friendly, fast service, delicious food (especially for a mall food court) with no hiccups whatsoever. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m shopping and get hungry.

I visited this restaurant last Friday while at the mall. I ordered the chicken tikka with a side order of butter chicken. I was surprised by the fresh taste. It was so delicious. The could eat the sauce for the butter chicken daily. The chicken tikka was so tender! My only average tasting bite was the naan bread. It was not terrible but not what I am use to; maybe a little dry. The service was top
notch. I would definitely visit whenever I am in town and at the mall
