Surreal by Seven Reasons Group

The service here was absolutely impeccable. We had one server handle a large group of us, and she did fantastic. The food is fresh and the menu is very fusion style. I got the scallops. The actual scallops were delicious but the rest of the plate was far to spice and inedible for me. Appetizers were super fresh as well. The flan was good, but is not a traditional flan.

Surreal is the perfect spot for brunch. The atmosphere is airy and light, with sunlight beaming in from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Early in the day, the vibe is low-key and relaxed, free from the usual hustle and bustle. The food is plentiful and perfectly seasoned, catering well to those who prefer healthier options. We both tried something new we had never had before and were pleasantly surprised. Our dishes ended up being excellent choices and ones I would highly recommend. When you go, don't be afraid to try something out of the box.

Had lunch with a friend here today. First let me say this place is beautiful. Very much picture worthy. Outside and inside. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and given the option for outdoor or indoor seating. We stayed in. The server came right away and checked on us throughout our time there. We were asked right away of any food allergies as well. Always good to know a place is looking out for this. The food and drink options are unique and plenty. Our drinks were good and our food was too. I had a Caribbean pineapple grilled chicken dish and my friend had the salmon. We were both very happy with our selections. It came out quickly also. You can tell they keep the restaurant clean and the customers happy. Clean bathrooms as well. I definitely recommend checking this spot out if in the area.

I had the pleasure of trying out Surreal, one of the newer restaurants by the Seven Reasons Group! The ambience is really nice—it's a cozy spot with a stylish, modern vibe. The service was decent, and the staff were friendly and attentive, but there were a few moments where we felt forgotten. I understand this as this is a newer restaurant.
I really enjoyed the pizza; it was flavorful with a good crust. The desserts were also a highlight of the meal---really delicious! I could see myself coming back in the summer for drinks on the outside patio!

Environment
What can you say - the space is beautiful especially on a nice breezy day when they have they glass doors open. I came by early to hang out at the bar and enjoy a drink while reading a book before joining my friends for dinner. That was a great time. Really loved the bar space and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Windows surround the space so it's plenty of light that adds to the ambiance. Lovely place.

Service
The bar service was a bit slow at times as it took a while for me to get a second drink and to close out for dinner. The service for dinner was a step up - our server was knowledgeable and very helpful.

Food and drinks
Overall the food was okay. The stand out was the guacamole that I had at the bar. The alfredo I had for dinner was just okay and the the chocolate lava cake was hyped up to me but didn't land the same. It was solid. The drinks were tasty, creative and overall good - another highlight for this place. I would come back for them.

Overall
Beautiful space with really good drinks and a great ambiance. The food didn't win me over this time but definitely worth another go around to try other things on the menu or just to grab a drink.
