    Clean. I had their very reasonably priced lunch special. Good food. Friendly mom and pop atmosphere.

    Previous visits have been quite enjoyable, however, this evening there was a large crowd and evidently cooks and servers could not keep things moving at a good pace. "Hot sandwiches" were served cold and hamburger steak was not fully cooked. Apparently, there was a shortage of help, both servers and kitchen staff.

    Armstrong's is a great county restaurant. They have daily specials like meatloaf along with a regular always available menu. The restaurant has lots of tables since they opened up the side room, they also have a small old school lunch counter though I've never seen anyone use it. The chili cheese fries and a club make a great lunch.
