White's Wayside

It's out in the boonies and the hours are limited (check before you go), but otherwise this is a great place. My wife and I love to go for lunch occasionally, even though it's a drive. The broiled trout is the best anywhere, and they serve a generous large portion. Their homemade bread is heavenly. Other dishes I have had have also been great.

When you find that magical place of great food at the end of a sweet country drive. This is one of those places. Show up and plan to wait for a table! They have a most amazing cinnamon roll that I would suggest getting and sharing while you wait. It'll just make you so happy ????
They make their own bread and every plate has a toasted slice with this strawberry spread that just begs you to dip that toast.
Grits? You like them? My wife for the first time ever didn't doctor them up at all. Lol!
The owners have a solar array that helps power the restaurant and have a bee hive panel inside to help educate about them.
So find them on the map and drive on out. You won't be disappointed.

Great food and entertainment. Kayla and all the Staff went above and beyond too make the evening special! Music by John Lockridge was the perfect combination of favorite tunes that most everyone knows and enjoys. White's Wayside has always been a favorite but now is even better then ever!

Because there are only several tables, we had to wait 20 or so minutes for a table. However, the wait staff was really nice while we waited and offered us drinks and appetizers while we sat. The wait was worth it when we finally got our meal; it was delicious and well prepared! The prices are decent and they have a good selection of food; most of which they make on site! For sure worth a visit if you are in the area!
