MJ’s Grill & Bar

The service was great. Everyone was super nice. Food was good and came out quickly. My only critique would be the fries could use some seasoning. They were cooked perfectly, but plain. Overall it was great and we'll be back to try the brunch!

First off the atmosphere of the restaurant is so much nicer with how they renovated this old Applebees! It’s very open and bright so you can see your company and your food!

The service was impeccable with the cook even bringing out dishes so the server, Emily, could work with her patrons. Emily’s attitude and service was excellent and she made sure all of our needs were met!

The food and drinks were great as well! They did not skimp on the good alcohol, the two drinks we ordered were not watered down at all and mixed very well!

All the food was cooked precisely as we ordered it. The poutine, while not pictured due to us eating it before I could photo it, was amazing! Not quite cheese curds but they used good shredded cheese so it worked well! All of the other food is pictured and we had few leftovers.

Would highly recommend checking this out if you’re near Bedford!

Restaurant is very attractively decorated and clean. The staff was very friendly. Full bar area. Lots of family dining inside and outside. My review is on the second day of their opening. It was very busy and it took a good while to get service and food. Some food was cold that should've been hot and undercooked fries. Mashed potatoes was cold and appeared to be very old and nasty. Server would not replace. I listened to patrons conversations and some were having the same issues. SO
I think due to new cooks and servers,,,
I will come back at a later date and hopefully all of the wrinkles will be ironed out.

Newly opened and ready to serve, there's no staff shortages here!! Looking for a great bite late night, they got that covered too. Beautiful restaurant, adorable light fixtures (and the bathroom sinks are super cute too) they have a fully stocked bar, great outdoor seating (weather permitting) and tables all ready to seat groups of 6. There are 7 screens playing a variety of different things to keep just about anyone's attention, a great piped in music. We had a small issues with our first entree, but the replacement, steak street tacos was amazing. I had blackened chicken Alfredo (I was hungry, so I spaced taking pics). My dinner came with a nice salad and garlic bread, I was full so no room for dessert, booo, I'll get it next time. At any rate, some reviews mentioned slow service, it happens sometimes with a new place, as we have all been there (think Popeye's). We were pleased with our food, staff and management were all great!! We will definitely be back to sample more of the not so average menu. If you haven't been, Def go check it out. You won't be sorry!!

Our first experience with family dining at MJ’s was fabulous. Kendall was awesome waitress. Very attentive and courteous. We had the Fried Pickles and Poutine as appetizers. Talk about on point crunch and seasoned batter those pickles were the best. I’m not no ranch person but I tried the Sriracha ranch and I’m in love. I was even dipping my Poutine fries in it. The Poutine in steak fries with brown gravy with cheddar cheese on it. Mouthwatering good. Christian had the Beef Tips. Love them. I had the pork chop that was very flavorful and tender the mashed potatoes was good. Just like nana’s. Dennis had the taco’s. Loved them. Liked the sriracha ranch as well. He could’ve had 10 more lol… growing son. For dessert we had the Cookie and Brownie Skillet. Talk about heavenly sweetness. A warm brownie and cookie with vanilla ice cream melting on top and chocolate syrup drizzled over with a dash of powdered sugar in a mini cast iron skillet. Glad something new is in Bedford to stay and strive. Great job everyone. Kudos to the kitchen tonight.
