Big Walker Lookout

If you love the mountains, and you want to see for miles, this is definitely the place to go. Just outside Wytheville Va, it is for sure one of the most beautiful parts of the country. The tower is kinda scary, but hey, be adventurous, and you'll love it.

Beautiful, and the general store has some awesome things you would be very lucky to find anywhere else. I highly recommend checking it out.

The great walker lookout is a great place to go if you enjoy seeing some mountainous areas. There is a gift shop selling various homemade items like jams, fudge, and quilts. The staff is kind, and the view is great.

Nice experience. You can tell they take pride in their establishment when you go inside the country store. Very clean and well kept, friendly staff, fun souvenirs and handmade crafts from the locals. Very neat little place, and a must see when in the area. Beautiful view! The live music was also nice. It’s like all time stands still here. Peaceful.

Loved it, reasonably priced $3 for kids and$6 for adults. very friendly staff and great place for some unique photos, the shop has a lot of handmade crafts and clothes. I'm scared of heights so I didn't go up the tower but my husband did and he had to stop halfway BC he said the wind and tower swaying he didn't want to see how the top felt lol. some of the steps need replacing and the sway bridge looked like it seen better days but the views were awesome. We will be back again for their live bands this summer.
