The food was good and served hot when we finally got it, but our order was constantly delayed as takeouts were given priority. So, after having driven 25 minutes to get there, we had to wait over an hour before being served. Did not seem fair.

This is a can't miss gem in Buchanan. The owner Debbie is great and will satisfy your hunger (and then some) with her fantastic home cook dishes. It's cash only, but it's worth the side trip to an ATM. Come hungry, and when you have time for a nap afterwards. Highly recommend breakfast as well as their burgers!

This place is a hot spot. Regulars come everyday of the week. This place STAYS packed on the weekends. Great food and great service. Service can get a little slow at peak times, but this is a small establishment and most don't seem to mind, as the atmosphere is homey. Kind of makes you feel like you are sitting at grandmas kitchen table. This establishment is located right in the curve of Route 11 with a smaller parking lot, so caution is advised upon pulling out..

Quick and friendly service. Small town atmosphere. Awesome food (bacon cheese burgers)! We would definitely eat here again!

North Star Restaurant was such a pleasant experience for lunch. This is set on the side of the road not far off the interstate and well worth the drive. They had great Grilled Cheese, Club sandwich and the Cheese Burger was huge and very reasonable price. Everyone there seemed to know each other, very laid back and a lot of fun.
