Dotson Drive In

It was about 8 PM when we went , I got a bacon cheeseburger and I have to say that was the smallest burger over ever seen on a burger !!! It also was dried out like they had cooked it way before I ordered it... but the service was very good...

Love the home cook food.... everyone is super nice! Nice place to eat.

If you want somewhere local just to go eat, Dotson's is worth it. The food's decent and reasonably-priced (two burgers and fries for under or roughly $10), so it makes a good lunch option if you're looking for burgers outside the usual McDonald's, Hardee's, et cetera. If the weather's nice, there are outdoor dining options with a good view of the river. The indoor atmosphere is rather cozy, too. Give 'em a try if you're stopping into Grundy from out of town.

Burger was good. I think it's a little over priced for what you get but at this point, what isn't? The highlight was talking with the hostess Ruth. 84 years young and still at it. Service is good. Not the most wheelchair friendly place I've seen but it is manageable.
